Travel Accident Insurance

Up to $7,500 accidental death benefit based on mode of transportation. All current members of the American Legion Auxiliary are covered by this benefit. There are no enrollment forms to fill out, no applications to send, and NO COST TO THE MEMBER. Every member is automatically insured with the payment of her dues. Under the blanket coverage, no individual certificates of insurance are issued and no individual beneficiaries are designated. The benefits of the Travel Accident Insurance Plan are paid to the beneficiary and/or estate of the deceased. Call 1-800-545-6390 or your Department Headquarters to receive a claim form if a member is killed in a travel related accident.

Supplemental Insurance

Membership in the Auxiliary entitles you to economical rates for Medicare Supplement, Guaranteed Issue Life, Cancer, and Hospital Cash Insurance. For information about these plans, call the toll- free numbers below, Monday through Friday.

The Auxiliary has partnered with CA Affinity to provide substantial savings to lower members' long distance telephone costs. CA Affinity, not only offers the low rate of 4.5 cents per minute, but a significant percentage of your monthly phone bill is contributed to the Auxiliary Scholarship Program each year.
